Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Department of Biotechnology Applications are invited for the post of One Junior Research Fellow for the following timebound sponsored project as per the details given below: Project Title: “Exploring efficacy of plants and microbes for remediation of E-waste contaminated soil�.

Post: JRF (one) Project assistant (one) Duration: The project is valid for a period three years. The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year but likely to be extended depending on the performance, requirement and project validity, whichever is earliest. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview.

Emoluments: JRF: Rs 31,000/- per month (consolidated) Project Assistant: 10,000/ per month (consolidated) Essential Qualifications: JRF: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology OR Graduate degree in professional courses with GATE qualified. Preference will be given to CSIR / UGC/ JRF/NET qualified candidates. However, Non- NET/nonGATE qualified candidates can also apply.

Project Assistant: BSc/Masters in Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology Job Description: JRF - The project involves, testing and analysis of heavy metal content in Soil and exploring efficacy of plants and microbes for remediation Project Assistant: Collection and managing the soil samples .Sample preparation for remediation Applications including a cover letter in the prescribed format should reach to Dr. Pammi Gauba, Department of Biotechnology, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology on or before 04th January, 2020.
