Notification for the selection of Junior Project Fellow Candidates are invited for recruitment to the following temporary position in the externally funded project ‘Conservation of Orchids – Setting up of Orchidarium and Orchid Interpretation Centre at Eravikulam National Park’ at Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram. AGE 36 yrs (as on 1st January 2020)

ELIGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS

Salary/ Fellowship

MSc Botany with first class. At least one-year experience Rs. 18,000/- + in Forest Exploration and 10% HRA Taxonomic Studies. Desirable Experience in Orchid Taxonomy /Knowledge in Computer Applications.

The posts are temporary and for one year.

Candidates are required to submit self-attested copies of all the Certificates in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBC etc. The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the interview. Those who are not producing any valid document as proof of their qualification will not be considered for walk in interview. Candidates should bring copy of MSc dissertation, detailed bio-data affixing a recent passport size photograph, testimonials, etc. The candidates attending the interview should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
