Applications are invited for the following temporary positions in the project entitled “All India Coordinated Research Project on Small Millets Improvement (ICAR)”. The positions are purely contractual basis till the positions get filled in the project on regular basis. Sl. No. Name of position 1. Pay Structure (Rs.) (i) Consolidated fixed salary of Rs. 40,000/- + 10 % HRA per month for PhD Holders
OR (ii) Consolidated fixed Master’s degree in Agriculture (Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Seed Science & st Technology) having 1 division or 60 % marks equivalent overall grade point average salary of Rs. 38,000/- + 10 % HRA per month for with at least two years of research experience. Master Degree Holders Desirables: Published research papers, Knowledge in statistical analysis and documentation of experimental data, knowledge of computer and full willingness to work in field. 2.
Research Associate (Entomology/ Plant Pathology) - 01 no. Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Entomology/ Plant Pathology OR Master’s degree in Agriculture (Entomology /Plant Pathology) having 1 st division or 60 % marks equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience. Desirables: Published research papers , Knowledge of insect pests and disease diagnosis in field, statistical analysis and documentation of experimental data, knowledge of computer and full willingness to work in field.
(i) Consolidated fixed salary of Rs. 40,000/- + 10 % HRA per month for PhD holders (ii) Consolidated fixed salary of Rs. 38,000/- + 10 % HRA per month for Master Degree Holders
The interested and eligible candidates are required to submit the duly signed application as per the format annexed (ANNEXURE-I). No separate interview letter will be issued. Note: 1. No interim correspondence will be entertained. 2. Attested copies of all the Certificates, Degrees, Testimonials, Experience, and Publications must be enclosed with the application form. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview. 3. The period of appointment will be initially for six months which can be extended further subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate on six monthly review basis. 4. The incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment in the project. 5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
