WALK-IN-INTERVIEW Eligible candidates are invited for Walk in Interview on 30.01.2019 at 11:00 AM at ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora-263601 (Uttarakhand) for the purely temporary and time bound positions of Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow and Skilled Help/Lab/Field Assistant on contractual basis under the following project. The qualifications and other details are as under.

Nature of duties Desirable

The candidate must have a) Experience in passed Master's degree in working with different Agronomy/Soil Science/ Soil modern Physics/ Soil Microbiology/ equipment’s for soil Agroforestry/Horticulture/ and plant analysis.

Vegetable Science/ Entomology/ b) Management of field Pathology with 4 years/ 5 years crops in organic of Bachelor's degree. condition. c) Sound knowledge Candidate having post graduate on Microsoft office. degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification.

Implementation of experiments and management of organic farming system model; detailed analysis of soil, compost and plant parts; study on root morphology; observations on plant protection parameters; surveying and data collection from certified organic farmers and their land within organic cluster; other observations as per the requirement of the project and suggestion from competent authority.

Rs. 25000/p.m. + HRA for the initial 2 years and in 3rd year JRF will awarded as SRF @ Rs. 28000/+HRA after review of their performance by the review committee

Till the termination of project.

Post Graduate Degree (04 1. Work experience in conducting years bachelor degree/ experiments on candidate with 3 years crop cultivation Bachelor’s degree, should and evaluation/ have NET qualified and two Socio-economic years master degree) in Soil survey, data and water conservation compilation and analysis.

Interested and eligible candidate fulfilling the above qualifications may appear in walk in interview on 30.01.2019 at 11:00 AM at ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora – 263601(Uttarakhand). They are requested to fill the application form indicating all details, photograph for each project separately along self attested copies of certificates in support of age (Class 10th Certificate), qualifications, experience.

2. No-objection certificate from the employer/University in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/ studying.

3. The candidates are necessarily required to produce all original certificates which will be returned to them.

4. The above position is on contractual basis, purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project 5. The place of work will be at ICAR-VPKAS, Almora/Hawalbagh (Uttarakhand) or the project site.

6. The selected candidate shall not claim any regular employment at this Institute, as the position is co-terminus with the project.

7. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

8. The number of positions may increase and decrease as per requirements.
