Visva-Bharati Department of Environmental Studies Siksha- Bhavana WALK IN INTERVIEW
Candidates are invited for appearing in Walk-in-Interview for the following posts under the DST sponsored project “Development, Research and Pilot scale Installation of Solar-hydro Pumped Storage Scheme in a Remote Village of Assam to ensure 24x7 electricity”, sanctioned up to two years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
1. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow Number of posts: 1 (One) Qualification: M.A. Rural Management/M.A. Rural Development/ Masters in Rural Studies with minimum 55% marks along with at least one-year experience in the field of rural development. Age: Preferably below 29 years Pay and allowances: Rs. 25,000 (I & II year) (Consolidated). 2. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow Number of posts: 1 (One) Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry with NET/ GATE/ SET having minimum 55% marks and at least one-year research experience. Age: Preferably below 29 years Pay and allowances: Rs. 25,000 (I & II year) (Consolidated) 3. Name of the post: Field Assistant Number of posts: 1 (One) Qualification: M.A. Rural Management / M.A. Rural Development /M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences/Botany/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry having minimum 55% marks. Age: Preferably below 29 years Pay and allowances: Rs. 12,500 (I & II year) (Consolidated)
Candidates trained in computer applications will be given preference. Reservations will be provided as per the Government of India rules. Interested and eligible candidates may attend the interview to be held at the Principal’s Office, Siksha-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, on 12 th October 2018 at 10.00 am sharp along with: i) an application for the post applied for addressing to the PI of the project. ii) Bio-Data iii) Certificates and testimonials in original and a Self-attested Photocopies thereof.
