Walk-in interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB funded extramural research project [EMR/2017/005001].

Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow in the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India funded extramural research project titled “Ecology, distribution and phylogeny of Takydromus sikkimensis (Günther, 1888)

(Squamata: Lacertidae) in the North East India” sanctioned to the Department of Zoology, Sikkim University. Interested candidate can appear for walk-in interview scheduled for 12th December 2019 in the Department of Zoology, Sikkim University.

Prior experience of First class Masters Non-NET working on mountains, Degree in Zoology/ Life candidates can knowledge of basic Sciences/ Environmental molecular techniques, apply and will be Science/ Environmental phylogeny, ecological considered as Junior Project management or allied modelling, etc. disciplines with NET Fellow (JPF)

Fellowship: Fellowship will be paid as per the norms of the funding agency.

Duration: Initially for six months but extendable upto project tenure, subject to annual performance review. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project How to apply: Interested candidates can appear before walk-in interview along with necessary documents and prescribed filled-in application. The interview will be held in the Department of Zoology, Sikkim University.
