Studentship & Trainiship opportunities in Bioinformatics Bioinformatics Center (Sub-DIC under BTISNet DBT Government of India) at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology pantnagar is one of the first Sub-DIC in state of Uttarakhand and engaged in advanced research in area of system biology and bioinformatics with respect to agricultural biotechnology invites applications from Indian National to train in basic skills in Bioinformatics and enable their successful completion of the project as detained below. 1. Award of Traineeship in Bioinformatics Number of seats: Two (02) Duration: six months Eligibility: M.Sc/ M.Tech in Bioinformatics or Master degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Computer science/IT to carry out a project work in bioinformatics. Fellowship: Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) per month fixed. Purely temporary for a period of six months. 2. Award of Studentship in Bioinformatics Number of seats: Two (02) Duration: six months Eligibility: Students pursuing postgraduate degree in bioinformatics/Biotechnology or any other branch of life sciences/Computer science/IT. Fellowship: Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) per month fixed. Purely temporary for a period of six months. The last date of receipt of application is 29 June, 2019. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their merit. Both the studentship and traineeship are temporary basis and will be discontinued after the six months from the date of joining.
