Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited along with the complete bio-data and attested copies of certificates showing qualifications and experience for one post of JRF in the research project entitled “Development of gold nanoparticles based lateral flow immunoassay for rapid and early detection of novel biomarker miR204 in type 2 diabetes (T1D)” by ICMR, Government of India (17X(3)/Adhox/69/2022-ITR) granted to Drs. Ravi Pratap Barnwal and Gurpal Singh. Intial appointment is for one year, extended up to 3 years based on the performance. Eligibility: M.Sc. in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemistry/allied subjects with minimum 55% marks. “Candidates with UGC-NET/GATE/ other national entrance test conducted by Government of India will be preferred.”
Desirable: Experience with nucleic acids, nanotechnology and lateral flow assay
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/-p.m.+ 18% HRA for three years as per ICMR or Panjab University guidelines.
