The position is purely on temporary basis initially for a period of one year and it may be extended for further period(s) based on further project extension and satisfactory performance of the candidate and will be co-terminus with completion of the project. Post graduate degree in Zoology/Life Sciences/ Wildlife/Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognized University.
Experience in wildlife surveys/ molecular taxonomy/handling sequence data/phylogenetics analysis/bioinformatics
*Fellowship will be as per the SERB rules and regulations. If candidates are not found as per SERB guidelines, the fellowship will be 16000-18000+HRA. Place of Work: Zoological Survey of India, Southern Regional Centre, 130, Santhome High Road, Chennai with the liability of extensive and long field surveys to all over India. General Instructions: 1. Upper age limit is 28 years as on the date of Interview. However, the upper age limit may be relaxed as per Govt. of India rules.
