ADVERTISEMENT FOR YOPUNG PROFESSIONAL- I UNDER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD (SERB), DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FUNDED PROJECT Applications are invited from the interested candidates for a position of Young Professional-I under SERB, DST, New Delhi funded project. Project title: "Taxonomic studies on the whiteflies (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India with special emphasis to Indian Part of the Sundaland Biodiversity hotspot" (Duration: 9/10/2021 to 8/10/2024).

Interview is likely to be held online.

General Instructions: 1. The position of Young Professional- I under SERB project is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

2. The upper age limit is as on the date of interview is 28 years. The age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years, as in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/women (as per GoI rules).

3. Candidates send by post or email the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of testimonials of qualifications, experience, date of birth etc. along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations. All original documents should be produced at the time of interview and joining.

4. ‘No Objection Certificate’ from present employer (if employed) need to be attached with application.

5. The offer of the position of YP-I to the candidates may be extended on satisfactory performance of the candidate.

6. The selected candidate need to join immediately or at a short notice.

7. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for appearing for the interview/joining.
