the
post
of
Junior
Research
Fellow
with a Fellowship of Rs. 31,000/- +8 % HRA (ifeligible according to DST guidelines) in an_ICMR
sponsored project entitled "Understanding the molecular determinants of the unique substrate
specificity ofa potential anti-Leishmanial drug target- Xanthine phosphoribosyl transferase" sanctioned up to I year (can be extended to 3 years). The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential qualifications: The candidates should have a post graduate degree in Life Sciences/
Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/Allied Subjects with at least 55% marks. The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOl rules. Desirable qualifications:
NET/GATE/CSIR-JRF/ICMR-JRF qualified, Experience in molecular
biology techniques and protein purification, Familiar with Bioinformatics tools like Molecular Docking and Molecular Dynamics Simulations.
