Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the DST sponsored research project entitled “In silico identification and experimental validation of novel chemical chaperones for preventing amyloid aggregations and rescue cognitive behavior in Alzhimers’s disease rat model” sanctioned to the undersigned. Essential Qualifications: The Candidate must have passed the M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Allied fields AND have cleared GATE/NETJRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test or any national level examination OR have M.Pharm degree with minimum 55% marks AND have cleared GATE/NETJRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test or any national level examination Desirable Experience: Prior knowledge of computational studies and neurological studies Emoluments/Fellowship: The selected candidate will be paid stipend of Rs. 31,000/- pm + 16% HRA Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
