09/09/2019 ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF PROJECT FELLOW/JRF UNDER CEFIPRA (INDO-FRENCH) RESEARCH PROJECT Applications are invited for the post of a JRF position under the CEFIPRA (Indo-French) research project No. 6108-1 – ‘Plasmonic hot electron pockets as exciton luminescence promoters and region-selective chemical triggers’. The selected fellow will work with an international team involving Panjab University, India and CEMES, France and will also get ample opportunities to participate in various other experiments of the group as well to demonstrate independent research capabilities. The fellow is expected to work both at Panjab University, Chandigarh-India and partly at CEMES, Toulouse-France. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project at any point of time. The position is initially for one year and extendable up to third year and governed by the CEFIPRA as well as government of India guidelines and his/her performance will be accessed accordingly. The candidate must have passed the M. Sc. in Physics or Chemistry (preferably minimum of one paper completed in theoretical chemistry during qualifying examination) with a minimum of 55 % marks or 1st class M. Tech. degree in relevant engineering branch (relaxation as admissible as per government rules). It is expected that the successful candidate has fundamental knowledge in optics & nanoplasmonics and will demonstrate capabilities to carry out independent research work (candidates with relevant academic background only be considered). Candidate actively engaged in research work with evidence of published work will be preferred. Note: Candidate who have cleared GATE/UGC-CSIR NET JRF/Lectureship or any relevant national level examination will be given preference for the appointment. *Emoluments/Fellowships as under: For NET/GATE qualified candidate: ₹ 25,000 per month + HRA * As per government notifications and subjected to approval from funding agency.
