DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY University of Delhi South Campus NOTIFICATION Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post in the CSIR funded project entitled "UNRAVELING THE ROLE OF HPV16E7 ONCOPROTEIN IN MANIPULATING FoxM1 ACTIVITY VIA APC/C-Cdh1 AXIS" (no. 37 (1682)/17/EMR-II) under the supervision of the undersigned. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (1 post): Emolument - Rs. 35000/- + HRA per month Essential Qualification: NET/GATE Qualified candidates having M.Sc/M.Tech degree in Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology or related subjects in biological sciences, with first class (60% and above) marks in all degree examinations. The candidate must have more than two years of research experience in mammalian cell culture, cell biology, molecular biology and biochemical techniques. Candidates with research publications and additional knowledge of biophysical techniques, protein purification, and computational biology will be preferred. OR Research Associate
(1 post): The consolidated emoluments will be under the following 3 slabs

Candidates with Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry/ Life
Sciences/ Biotechnology or related subjects in biological sciences, with 60% and above marks in all degree examinations. The candidate must have research experience in molecular biology and biochemical techniques as evidenced by valid recommendation letter and research publications in reputed journal.
Candidates with additional research experience in protein based biochemistry,
structural biology, drug design and computational biology will be preferred . . The upper age limit for SRF and RA shall be 32 and 35 years respectively as on the day on which the application is made. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/Obtl; women and physically handicapped candidates. Completed application on plain paper along with CV and copies of mark-sheets, certificates, research experience letter and copy of publication should reach the undersigned within 21 days of this advertisement. Candidates meeting the required criteria will be called for an interview but no TAiDA will be paid. The project duration is till 2020. It is to be noted that the post is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research scheme.
