DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES IISER BHOPAL Applications are invited from Indian nationals to work as Laboratory Assistant in a research project funded by the SERB, Govt. of India.

SERB Project: Understanding regulation of synaptic morphogenesis by neuronal signaling mediated by clathrin-mediated endocytosis Total no. of position: 1 Duration: 1 year (with possibility of extension up to 2 years subject to satisfactory performance).

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. or equivalent in any branch of Natural Sciences with good academic record throughout. Previous experience of working in neurobiology or development biology or biochemistry will be an added advantage.

Age Limit: Applicant should not have completed 30 years of age at the time of application.

Salary: Rs.20,000 + HRA (as applicable) or as per DST norms.

Job description: The candidate will assist in performing the large scale Drosophila genetics, biochemical experiments and preparing and processing samples for transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
