Nature of work
First class Masters Degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Environmental management or allied disciplines with NET*
Experience of working in Mountain environment, interest to work on herpetofauna, working knowledge of ecological analysis, GIS & Modelling Experience in assisting in the field studies and knowledge on biodiversity of the region
Field data collection, analysis, reporting and other research activities
Intermediate Assisting Research (10+2) preferably in Fellows/PIs for field science. Educational surveys in the qualifications may be project. relaxed for candidates with prior experience in assisting in the field studies and knowledge on biodiversity of the region. *Non-NET candidates may apply and if selected, will be considered as Junior Project Fellow (JPF) and fellowship will be as per the norms of MoEF&CC, Govt. of India
