Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali invites applications from prospective candidates for admissionintoitsPh.D.Programinseveralareasofnanoscienceandnanotechnologyforthesessionbeginning inAugust2023.SelectedstudentswillbeprovidedfellowshipasperthenormsofINSTandGovernmentofIndia. Students with an independent source of fellowship, for example CSIR/UGC-JRF, are also encouraged to apply. Selected students will be enrolled in the Ph. D. program of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research(IISER),MohaliandthePh.D.degreewillbeawardedbyIISER,Mohali.

a) ELIGIBILITY

 M.Sc.orM.Pharm.orM.Tech.inBasicorAppliedSciences,Engineeringorrelatedareas.Studentswho haveappearedforthefinalyear/semesterexaminationsarealsoeligible,providedthatthedegreewill begrantedbythetimeofjoining

 QualifiedatleastonenationalexaminationoutofGATE,CSIR/UGC-NET,JEST,JGEEBILS(TIFR/NCBS), ICMR-JRF,DBT-JRF,DST-INSPIREorGPAT.

 Agelimit:AspertheguidelinesofCSIR-UGCandDST.

 Ph.D.interviewswillbeconductedinpersonandthecandidatescalledforinterviewwillbenotbepaid anyTA/DA

 Aftertheinterview,thelistofcandidatesselectedforPh. D. willbe uploadedonINSTwebsiteandthe candidateswillbeintimatedbyemail.

 Selection of students shall be done as per the provisions of The Central Educational Institutions (ReservationinAdmission)Act,2006andamendmentsmadethereto.
