NOTIFICATION FOR WALK -IN WRITTEN TEST /INTERVIEW The following post is to be filled up through walk in written test/Interview on 14.6.2019 under time bound research project entitled “Monitoring of pesticide residues analysis at national level” sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, at National Institute of Occupational Health, Meghaninagar, Ahmedabad, at ICMR-National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) Ahmedabad. The post is purely temporary, ad-hoc & contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Research Associate No. of post Essential Qualification
01 (One) (UR) Ph.D in (Chemistry/Entomology/Forensic Science/Environmental) OR M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Entomology/Forensic Science /Environmental Science having 1st Division or 60 % marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship /Associateship / Training / other engagements.

40 years on the date of Interview/Written test
Emoluments
For Ph.D holders Rs. 24,000/- p.m + HRA For M.Sc holders Rs. 23,000/- p.m. + HRA
Desirable/Preference
(i) Published research papers (ii) Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 or 17025:2017 (NABL) (iii) Working knowledge of computer (iv) Experience in pesticide residue analysis in biological and environmental samples (v) Handling sophisticated Analytical instruments Viz., GC, HPLC, GC-MS,LC-MS
Tenure
The period of appointment of RA will be initially for a period of one year and is likely to be extended further on yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate.
Terms & Conditions 1. The original certificates may be produce for verification on demand. Candidate must bring application for the said post along with Original Certificates with self-attested copies of the certificates (a) Proof of Date of Birth (b) Qualification (c) Experience (d) Recent Passport size photograph. Candidates who fail to bring the Original Certificates for written test / Interview will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed for written test/Interview after verification of documents. 2. Experience shall be counted after acquiring the essential qualification; age limit. Experience will be considered as on date of walk-in written test / interview. 3. The selected candidate will stand apart from engagement in all other schemes/appointments/courses. 4. Qualification & experience required are as per ICAR guidelines; experience shall be counted after acquiring the essential qualification; age limit and experience will be considered as on date of walkin written test / interview. 5. Benefits of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim, Leave Concession etc. are not admissible. The posts are purely temporary, co-terminate with the project, and the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment/employment under ICMRNIOH/ICAR or continuation in other project and his/her engagement will be deemed terminated immediately after expiry of the project/tenure. 6. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons. 7. Candidates employed in Govt. Service /Semi Govt. /Autonomous Bodies of State/Central Govt. should submit a "No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of walk-in written test / Interview. Continued to page no 02...
