Research Officer (for a Tuberculosis Lab)
Ph. D. in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biomedical Sciences
Upto ₹ 52,000/-

Lead person will also be responsible for the following: Independently run one or more research projects Handle all scientific and administrative paper work required during the course of running the projects Training PhD students in the Lab with advanced techniques Compiling data and submitting weekly and monthly progress reports Perform experiments in BSL3 independently

Desirable: Advanced technical experience in Microbiology, mycobacteriology, molecular biology, protein chemistry, mass spectrometry and confocal microscopy significant knowledge and work experience in BSL3 with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Able to independently think and perform routine molecular biology, protein chemistry and microbiology experiments. Able to understand, bring in new and troubleshoot techniques that will aid quick progress of the projects under consideration in the PI’s lab. Good computing skills with good oral and written communication skills. Able to adopt to new projects with ease. Able to work as part of the team The candidates must bring their latest resume, one set of photocopy of documents in support of their educational qualification and experience along with originals and a valid ID card for verification.
