Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following position.
Project: DBT project entitled “Technological innovations for development of functional foods from ethnic fermented foods of the Indian Himalayas” under Himalayan Bioresource Mission
Name of position: Research Associate-I (02 nos.)
Fellowship: Rs. 47,000/- + @16% HRA
Eligibility:
Position-1: Ph.D.inanybranchofLifeSciences,microbiology,biochemistry& molecularbiology. Candidates having expertise in microbiological & toxicological aspects of fermented food in in vivo models will be preferred.
Position-2:Ph.D.inanybranchofLifeSciences,microbiology,biochemistry& molecularbiology.Candidates having expertise in Bacterial genetics, who has performed gene deletion or gene mutation in bacterial genome and/or animal bacterial infection model will be preferred.

All the positions are purely temporary and coterminous with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
