NOTIFICATION FOR WALK -IN WRITTEN TEST /INTERVIEW The following post is to be filled up under time bound research project entitled “Urban air quality assessment using remote sensing and GIS” sponsored by ISRO at National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. Essential Qualifications:
1. Field work for the collection of air samples and medical data from different hospitals

Graduate in science / relevant subjects from a recognized university with three years’ work experience from a recognized institute OR M.Sc. Degree in chemistry or environmental Science. Desirable Qualification: 1) Basic knowledge of sophisticated analytical instruments like HPLC, GC & GC-MS. 2) Basic knowledge of computer, data entry and statistical data analysis. 3) Knowledge of measurement of air pollutants (field work)
2. Field work for medical examination. 3. Questionnaire survey 4. Data entry and help in analysis. 5. Other work assign by Director and PI of the project.
1. The original certificates may be produce for verification on demand. The application duly signed by the applicant should be submitted along with self-attested copies of the certificates. (a) Proof of Date of Birth (b) Qualification (c) Experience (d) Recent Passport size photograph. Unsigned/ incomplete applications or applications without supportive evidence shall be summarily rejected. Candidates who fail to bring the Original Certificates for written test / Interview will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed for written test/Interview after verification of documents. 2. Experience shall be counted after acquiring the essential qualification; age limit and experience will be considered as on date of walk-in written test / interview. 3. Benefits of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim, Leave Concession etc. are not admissible. The post is purely temporary, co-terminate with the project, and the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment/employment under ICMR-NIOH/ICMR/ISRO or continuation in other project and his/her engagement will be deemed terminated immediately after expiry of the project
4. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category as per Govt. of India rules. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons. 5. Candidates employed in Govt. Service /Semi Govt. /Autonomous Bodies of State/Central Govt. should submit a "No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of walk-in written test / Interview. Continued to page no 02...
