NIANP/ADV-Project-VII-Estt/2018 Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (one number) under the time bound NASF project entitled “Targeted immobilization of Y-bearing spermatozoa and modulation of oviduct milieu for skewing sex ratio towards female offspring in dairy cattle”. This recruitment is subjected to terms and conditions in force in ICAR for such appointments. There is no provision of absorption /re-employment in ICAR-NIANP/ICAR after termination of the project. The service of person, who engaged, will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project. The appointment is purely on temporary basis and liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof. Preferred subjects: Biochemistry, Cell biology, Biotechnology/ Animal Biotechnology and Molecular biology

Desirable Qualification
Research experience in the field of cell culture, western blotting, nucleic acids isolation, purification, bio-informatics and qPCR.

Remuneration
Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- + HRA per month for third year, if no accommodation is provided (as per ICAR guidelines).
6.
Duration of the project
Upto 31st July, 2021 or completion of the project whichever is earlier.
7.
Age Limit
35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules.
