CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru, a constituent National Laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications from eligiblecandidatesforrecruitmentof 01 (One)positionof PROJECT ASSOCIATE LEVEL-I initially foraperiodof 01 Year, ortilltheprojectisoveronatemporarycontractualbasisintheproject entitled “Post-biotics fermentate formulation for the management of diabetes hyperlipidemia and gut health” (GAP-0633) tenable at the Department of Microbiology & Fermentation Technology, CSIR-CFTRI,Mysuru,Karnataka.
Essential Qualifications: 1st Class M.Sc. in Microbiology.
Job Requirements: To carry out R&D work in the area of Microbiology.
Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) consolidated per month.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Candidatesshouldnothaveexceeded 35 yearsofageason 18-03-2023 i.e.thelastdateofreceiving theapplications.
2. The engagement of PROJECT ASSOCIATE LEVEL-I is exclusively for the above-mentioned research work.
3. The engagementwill be contractual andpurelyontemporarybasis for a period of 01 Year, or coterminuswiththeproject,whicheverisearlier.
4. Theengagementundertheexternallyfundedprojectdoesnotconferanyright/claimwhatsoever either explicitlyorimplicitlyonthe appointee forregular appointmentinCSIR-CFTRI, againstany postorotherwiseunderanylegalconditionsprecedent.
5. PerformanceoftheProjectStaffwillbereviewedeverysixmonths.Incasetheperformanceisnot satisfactory,the engagementcouldbe terminatedwithonemonth’s noticeor onemonth’sstipend inlieuthereof.
6. NoTA/DAwillbegiventothecandidatesforattendingtheinterview.
7. If already the candidate is working in CSIR-CFTRI “No objection certificate” from the PI is mandatoryatthetimeofinterview.

Applications of those candidates, which are already active in the above subject panel for PROJECT ASSOCIATE LEVEL – I with the above eligibility requirements will be considered by default.
Applications received after the due date 18-03-2023 will not be considered. The short-listed candidates will be informed about the date of interview through e-mail.
