Walk-in-interview for the position of Scientific Officer Walk-in-Interview for the position of Scientific Officer is proposed to be held on contractual basis for engagement upto a period of 03 months (Extendable as per the recommendations of WCD), to work in the research project funded by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of Kerala as detailed below. Title of the Project: “FLAVOUR CHANGE OF AMRITHUM NUTRIMIX (THR) AND DEVELOPMENT OF NUTRACEUTICAL BASED READY TO USE THERAPEUTIC FOODS FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF MALNUTRITION IN CHILDREN AND WOMEN IN REPRODUCTIVE AGE”

Essential qualification
PhD in the area of Food Science and Nutrition/ Natural Sciences/ Food Technology/Food Science with 60% marks in Masters in the areas mentioned above. Candidates with background of working experience in R&D of nutrition/ chemistry/food analysis will be preferred. Candidate must have Four year research experience (post Ph.D) OR Minimum Five years (after post graduation) in the relevant area.
Age Fellowship per month Preferential qualification
Maximum 40 years for male and Maximum 45 years for female (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules). 62000/- + HRA (@8%) Candidates with an expertise in chemical analysis and interaction of nutrients and development of novel/ value added food products
