No matter how
 much
 money
 you
 have, it is never
 enough This leaves
 i n d i v i d u a l s a n d
 organizations
 alike
saddled
with
 a d i ffi c u l t
 dilemma.
 On
 the
 o n e h a n d ,
 acquisition
of
any
 amount
of
money
 is
prized,
while
on
 the other hand,
 money remains
 ephemeral and
 u n c h e c k e d
 spending can
 quickly deplete
 your
resources.
In
 this challenging
 landscape, good
 m o n e y
 m a n a g e m e n t
 skills become
 a b s o l u t e l y
 essential.

The
 first
 step
 in
 financial mastery is
 setting a budget. By
 carefully creating and
 documenting
a
spending
 plan, individuals and
 organizations can more
 easily monitor their
 finances and create
 systems for managing
 their money.It is also
 critical to prioritize
 spending
 and
 set
 aside
 money for saving and

T h e s e c o n d c o r e
 component of money
 management
is
to
carefully
 track spending. This

process involves creating
 s e p a r a t e b u d g e t a r y
 accounts for different
 expenses and creating a
 system for tracking gains
 and
 losses.
 While
 tracking
 spending
does
require
extra
 effort,
it
pays
off
greatly
in
 terms
of
ensuring
that
one
is
 aware of their financial
situation at all times Additionally, tracking
 spending
on
different
items
 can also help individuals
 and organizations identify
 lessons to use for future
 budgeting
and
investments.

The third step in money
 management is generally
 focused
on
longterm
plans

and investments Though
 many
are
anxious
to
spend
 their hardearned money,
 prudence suggests that
 some
be
set
aside
for
the
 future.
Investment
planning
 should involve careful
 consideration of a wide
 range
 of
 factors,
 including
 risk
management,
portfolio
 diversification, and other
 preventive measures.
 Moreso, individuals and
 organizations must judge
 their
time
horizons
and
the
 types
 of
 investments
 they
 are comfortable with Though
 these
 calculations
 require effort, they are
 essential
for
ensuring
longterm
financial
health.

 people have different

 than

 requires discipline,

it
is
ultimately
 the

 to
 having
 enough

can
ensure
they
 are well prepared for
 whatever the future may
 bring.

New
Infection
Hits
 Nigeria,
Claims

Ni g e r i a n

 Friday
the
outbreak
of
 a
new
nose
and
throat
 infection, otherwise
 known
 as
 Diphtheria,
 which has so far
 claimed
25
lives.

The
Nigeria
Centre
for
 Disease Control and
 Prevention
(NCDC)
in
 a p u b l i c h e a l t h
 advisory
issued
Friday
 morning, confirmed
 that
not
less
than
25
 p e o p l e h a v e
 reportedly died from
 the disease in Kano
 State.

The
NCDC,
however,
 noted that it had
 responded
to
"reports

of
 diphtheria
 cases
 in
 Lagos
and
Kano
States
 and
was
monitoring
the
 situation
 in
 Osun
 and
 Yobe States where
 cases
 are
 now
 being
 picked
up".

While
the
NCDC
is
yet
 to give data on the
 number of infections
 and
deaths
recorded
in
 the
 country,
 the
 Kano
 State Commissioner
 for Health, Aminu
 Tsanyawa, had on
 Thursday confirmed
 that the outbreak of
 Diphtheria
has
killed
no
 fewer
than
25
persons
 in
the
state.

The
commissioner
told
 an online newspaper
 that the state rapid

response team has
 been reactivated and
 indexed
an
action
plan
 to
check
the
spread
of
 the
 deadly
 disease
 in
 the
state.

However,
 NCDC
 said
 it's now working with
 state
 health
 ministries

 and response to the
 outbreak.

About
Diphtheria

The
 NCDC
 explained
 that diphtheria is a
 serious bacterial
 infection
caused
by
the
 bacterium called
 Corynebacterium
 species
that
affects
the
 nose, throat and

sometimes,
the
skin
of
 an
individual.

It noted that people

 are
children
and

 who

but
his

 despite
 an

As
Senegal
continued
to
control
 the
 momentum
 of
 the
 game,
 Uganda pounced on one
 chance
and
converted
through
 Karisa
to
give
the
Cranes
the
 lead.

Despite conceding, Senegal
 continued attacking Uganda
 and
five
minutes
later
Cheikh

made
a

on
the

 but
 his
 attempt
 was
 picked
up
by
Alionzi

Uganda

to

in

 from
the
Senegalese.

Six
minutes
into
the
second

 Karisa
was
brought
down
in
the
 box
 and
 while
 it
 looked
 like
 a
 penalty, Melki consulted VAR
 and
decided
to
wave
play
on.

Senegal continued to amass
 pressure on Uganda and
 eventually
had
62%
of
the
ball
 possession but when Libasse

 dangerous
tackle
on
Abdu

Senegal's
chances
 of
 winning
 started
 to
 diminish
 despite
 their
 spirited
 fight
 until
 the
last
minute
of
the
game.

Uganda
now
sits
on
top
of
Group
 B
with
four
points
while
Senegal
 are
second
with
three
points.
DR
 Congo who drew with Côte
d'Ivoire earlier in the day sit
 second
with
two
points
from
two
 games while the Local
 Elephants
sit
bottom
of
the
table.
 All
four
teams
still
have
a
chance
 of
advancing.

This is Uganda's first CHAN
 victory since beating Burkina

The
Cranes
were

at

 desperate
