the

This
is
because
water
bodies
such
as
rivers,
l a k e s , s t r e a m s , h o t
s p r i n g s , a n d o t h e r s
are
being
depleted
by
e n v i r o n m e n t a l
pollution,
both
directly
a n d i n d i r e c t l y .
Chemical
and
sewage
e ffl u e n t s f r o m
i n d u s t r i a l a n d
domestic
sources
are
polluting
these
water
sources,
making
them
u n s a f e f o r h u m a n
c o n s u m p t i o n a n d
d e g r a d i n g t h e m
further .
