KEY UPGRADES IN 2024-25 INCLUDED:

Technology & Equipment

Enhancements

Investment in leading technology, classroom furnishings, and specialized equipment to enhance learning.

New 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC routers for hands-on innovation.

Advanced AV technology, including large-format screens and PTZ camera systems.

Programmatic Upgrades

Expansion of the Film 2 program, including three new high-quality film cameras to elevate student filmmaking.

Upgraded science lab tools, including LabQuest 3 and Vernier Sensor Carts.

New equipment for Tech Theater and music programs enriching creative and technical experiences.

Campus-Wide Enhancements

New furniture for classrooms and collaborative spaces in the Center for Teaching and Learning.

Outdoor space improvements for an enhanced student experience.

Upgraded athletic facilities, including sideline chairs and specialized equipment.

Projected 2025-26 Program Enhancements

Equipping the DeGeorge Family Innovation & Arts Center with programmatic tools to inspire creativity, collaboration, and tactile learning experiences for students.

Athletics will receive new basketball shooting machines to support Middle School through Varsity in sports training and practices by increasing training e iciency and maximizing repetitions.

Academic support is planned by adding new furnishings to the Center for Teaching and Learning (2nd floor) to foster a dedicated space for focus and independent study. The Science department is also elevating Room 415 to reflect a versatile and lab-centric space.

The success of the Windward Fund directly impacts our ability to expand financial assistance for students within our community. Windward School is proud to provide Financial Aid to 105 students in the 2025-26 school year, ensuring they have access to essential resources that enrich their educational experience.

This support covers vital expenses such as textbooks, technology, athletic gear, uniforms, trips, participation in the Windward bus program, monthly campus food stipends, global study opportunities, field trips, and school events. By supporting the Windward Fund, you help remove financial barriers, empowering talented students to fully engage in all that Windward o ers—strengthening our diverse community and upholding our mission of providing an inclusive and transformative education.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT Investing in Excellence

The 2024-25 academic year set a new standard for Faculty & Sta engagement in professional development, with record-breaking attendance at conferences, specialized training, hands-on workshops, and certifications. From educational technology summits to intensive subject-specific seminars, our educators seized every opportunity to refine their craft and bring the latest innovations directly into the classroom.

With a dedicated $425,000 budget, the Windward Fund ensures that faculty and sta have access to top-tier professional development—setting Windward apart as a leader in faculty enrichment. This investment is a key di erentiator, keeping our educators at the forefront of their fields and directly enhancing the student experience.

Additionally, the Windward Fund fosters alumni engagement through curated networking events and reunions, creating valuable opportunities for both current and past students to connect, collaborate, and thrive in professional settings.
