We’re proud to call this area “home” and hope you come to love it as much as we do From the majestic pines (woods) to the crystal clear waters of our lakes and rivers (water) and everything in between, you’ll find so much to fall in love with. The hardest part will be leaving - that's why they call it a Minnesota goodbye!

EMPTY TRASH

Please ensure all trash is emptied and placed in the dumpster/ garbage cart Double-bag any meats or animal products to help deter wildlife.

STRIP BEDS

Strip linens (sheets & pillow cases) from beds and leave outside bedrooms in hallway (this really helps our cleaning team get the house ready for the next guest).

RUN THE DISHWASHER

Please load any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run a cycle before leaving.

Please make sure to log out of all streaming services on TVs.

TURN OFF LIGHTS & LOCK UP

Please shut off all interior and exterior lights on your way out - don't forget to lock up!

SMOKING

Smoking is only allowed outside. Please help us keep the grounds clean by picking up your used cigarette butts

PETS

Pets are not allowed inside the cabin Please be respectful to help keep the cabin in good condition for the next guest.

PARKING

Please do not park vehicles on the street or block neighbor's driveways Cars should be parked on the pad in front of the garage. No more than 4 cars.

SEPTIC SYSTEM

The property is on a well and septic systems. Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper

NOISE

Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10pm to 7am daily.

HELPFUL HINTS

Let's take the guesswork out of your vacation. We've put together the following pages of helpful hints so you can spend more time enjoying and relaxing and less time looking for the ironing board.

GARBAGE & RECYCLING

Please bring all garbage to the bin at the end of the driveway. Bag animal products (like meat) in a plastic bag before disposing to help deter wildlife

While we don't currently offer recycling services at Love Lake Manor we do encourage it Recycling can be dropped off behind the Nisswa Fire Dept

PARKING

The pad in front of the garage is our designated parking area and is ideally suited for four vehicles Please help keep the neighbors happy and avoid parking on the street

For additional/overflow parking, reach out to the Gull Lake Yacht Club, just down the road

KITCHEN LAUNDRY

The kitchen is stocked with a coffee pot, blender, toaster and hand mixer. As well as various casserole and baking pans. Or head out and visit one of the many nearby restaurants instead! We won't judge.

DRIP COFFEE POT

Nothing says morning at the lake like a fresh cup of coffee! There is a drip coffee pot for your use. Typically guests leave plenty of filters behind. Help yourself!

The laundry room is located right off the main entry (to the left as you enter the house).

WASH A LOAD

Add your laundry (don't overfill), add soap by pulling out the soap reservoir, select wash cycle and hit start.

DRY A LOAD

Add spun laundry to dryer (don't overfill), select dry cycle, add dryer sheet if desired and hit start.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

FIREPIT

Is it even a northwoods MN getaway without a bonfire? Enjoy our lakeside firepit and soak up the MN summer.

BOATING

You're just a short boat ride away from enjoying Gull Lake, one of the area's premier lake chains Discover a sand bar, go fishing or enjoy one of the many lakeside dining options

BBQ GRILL

On the lakeside deck please enjoy our propane grill for all your BBQing needs. There is a backup propane tank in the garage if you need additional propane during your stay

SUNRISE COFEE

Facing the east, Love Lake Manor is the perfect place to bask in the early morning sun while sipping on some delicious local coffee

Candy is food right? The Chocolate Ox offers more than just candy - ice cream too! A hot spot in the summer time, stop by to satisfy your sweet tooth

Located just across HWY 371 on North Long Lake, Dunmire's serves up seafood, steak, pasta, burger and sandwich options Check out their AYCE daily specials!

ERNIE'S ON GULL

A short boat or car ride away, Ernie's is a Gull Lake favorite, serving a variety of handhelds, burgers, tacos and entrees.

BAR HARBOR

Enjoy fine dining in the B L A at Bar Harbor Supper Club Featuring high-end land & sea options, decadent starters and bar-roasted chicken on Sundays. Reservations required.
