EMPTY TRASH

Please ensure all trash is emptied and placed in the dumpster near the detached garage. Double-bag any meats or animal products to help deter wildlife

STRIP BEDS

Strip linens (sheets & pillow cases) from beds and leave outside bedrooms in hallways (this really helps our cleaning team get the house ready for the next guest)

START LOAD OF TOWELS

Start a load of towels (a BIG help too).

CLEAN OFF GRILL

Please clean off grill for the next guest

LOG OUT OF STREAMING ACCOUNTS

Please make sure to log out of all streaming services on TVs.

The property is on a well and septic systems. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper, please

Let's take the guesswork out of your vacation. We've put together the following pages of helpful hints so you can spend more time enjoying and relaxing and less time looking for the ironing board.

GARBAGE & RECYCLING

Please bring all garbage to the dumpster located near the detached garage Bag animal products (like meats) in a plastic bag before disposing to help deter wildlife

While we don't currently offer recycling services at the GetAway, we do encourage it Recycling can be dropped off behind the Fire Department in Nisswa

PARKING

The concrete driveway is available for parking during your stay Please do not park on the lawn

ENTERTAINMENT

BUILT-IN SPEAKERS

Throughout the house, you'll find ceiling speakers The audio hub is located to the left of the great room fireplace (in the wall of cabinets). Volume can be accessed throughout the house via volume control knobs

CORNHOLE

Cornhole, bean bags, bag toss - it's all the same! Whatever you call it, it's a fun way to spend some time with family or friends.

We have a customized GetAway set for your enjoyment located on the patio

GOLF/CHIPPING RANGE

Enjoy our private 5-hole golf course or practice your chip shots from the poolside patio (please hit from the artificial grass)

TVs

The GetAway is equipped with several smart TVs. Simply login to your preferred platform and start watching! Don't forget to log out when you're done

ROPES COURSE

Looking for a physical challenge? Gear up in our army fatigues and challenge a buddy to a time trial on the ropes course. Loser buys the next round.

KITCHEN

DRIP COFFEE POT

Nothing beats a fresh cup of coffee in the morning (except maybe two!) Help yourself to our drip coffee pot.

PANTRY

Just beyond the fridge you'll find the pantry A great spot to store your dry goods or find oversized cooking utensils and kitchen gadgets. There is also an additional fridge for groceries or drinks.

WALK-IN COOLER

Need a place to keep a keg (or several) cold? Cooking or hosting for an event or large group? We've got you covered Located in the lower level, the GetAway has it's very own walk-in-cooler. How cool is that!

DOUBLE OVENS

The days of bending over to put in your holiday ham or turkey are over! Cook/bake in style with our luxurious wall oven — OR use our regular, boring oven. Either way, cooking skills required.

LAUNDRY

LAUNDRY DETERGENT

In the cupboard to the right of the washer/dryer you'll find some detergent to help get you started. 1/2 a cap should be plenty for most loads.

WASH A LOAD

Add your laundry (don't overfill), add soap by pulling out the soap reservoir, select wash cycle, & hit start.

DRY A LOAD

Add spun laundry to dryer (don't overfill), select dry cycle, add dryer sheet if desired, & hit start.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

POOL

Jump on in! Vacation in style while floating or splashing in our saltwater in-ground pool. To open/close the cover, use the control panel located near the gas grill (facing the guest cottage) Simply open the lid and hit the open/close button Please cover the pool when not in use

HOT TUB

Summer or winter, the saltwater hot tub at the GetAway is open year-round. Grab a couple friends and relax while taking in the beautiful vistas! To open/close the cover, use the control panel located near the gas grill (facing the guest cottage) Simply open the lid and hit the open/close button Please cover the hot tub when not in use.

WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE

Craving that classic crackle of a woodburning fireplace but also want to soak in the warm MN summer? Head out to the patio and enjoy our outdoor fireplace Now you don't have to choose! Contact Jeremiah for additional wood.

GRILLS

We have two grills on the patio for your use. The grill/outdoor kitchen is located on the Southside of the patio (facing the guest cottage) An additional grill is available on the Northside of the patio. Grill utensils are in the far left drawer of the kitchen.

TRAILS

Enjoy 20+ miles of groomed trails through the GetAway's 520 acre estate. Please take a map or walkie-talkie with you so you don't get lost

ADD-ON ACTIVITIES

SHERPS - AMPHIBIOUS VEHICLE

45 minute ride for $250, seats up to 5 people (2 Sherps).

2 hours/per day included (contact David to reserve daily tee times)

Additional:

2 hour block $300 minimum, up to 4 people. $50 for every additional person up to 10 people.
