Please ensure all trash is emptied and placed in the garbage receptacle at the end of the driveway. Doublebag any meats or animal products to help deter wildlife
Strip linens (sheets & pillow cases) from beds and leave outside bedrooms in hallways (this really helps our cleaning team get the house ready for the next guest).
Please load the dishwasher and run a load of dishes.

We welcome dogs at Valhalla! However please keep them off the furniture and clean up after them. Thank you!
Unfortunately, guests are not allowed to use the wood burning fireplace. You're welcome to use the fire pit down by the lake and roast some S'mores.
The property is on a well and septic systems Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.
Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10pm to 8am daily.
Let's take the guesswork out of your vacation We've put together the following pages of helpful hints so you can spend more time enjoying and relaxing and less time looking for the ironing board.
Please bring all garbage to the containers at the end of the driveway Bag animal products (like meat) in a plastic bag before disposing to help deter wildlife.
While we don't currently offer recycling services at Valhalla we do encourage it Recycling can be dropped off at the Ideal Transfer Station located at 33503 W Island Lake Dr
Please do not park vehicles on the street or block neighbor's driveways Cars should be parked on the pad in front of the garage or in the driveway.
The kitchen is stocked with appliances and ready to help you create culinary delights for your family — or head out and visit one of the many nearby restaurants instead! We won't judge.
Nothing says morning at the lake like a fresh cup of coffee! There is a drip coffee pot for your use. Typically guests leave plenty of filters behind. Please help yourself!
The laundry room is located on the main floor, down the hallway from the kitchen (behind the closet doors).
Add your laundry (don't overfill), add soap by pulling out the soap reservoir, select wash cycle and hit start.
Add spun laundry to dryer (don't overfill), select dry cycle, add dryer sheet if desired and hit start.
Is it even a northwoods MN getaway without s'mores? Enjoy a s'more by the bonfire and listen to the loons calling
Help yourself to our water inflatables located in the lakeside shed Please be sure to put things back as you found them
On the lakeside deck please enjoy our gas grill for all your BBQing needs. Please let us know if you need additional propane during your stay
We have two kayaks and one stand up paddle board and a paddleboat for your enjoyment Go explore Bass Lake!
Bass Lake is an excellent open water or ice fishing lake - send us some pictures of your keepers!
We're excited to be able to offer you a pontoon rental to enjoy beautiful Kimble Lake and at the best price around! Please help us continue to offer this amenity to future guests by taking good care of it.

Please store the pontoon on the lift overnight
Life jackets and a throw cushion are available on the pontoon If you aren't a strong swimmer (or even if you are) please wear a life jacket to protect you/your loved ones Please remain seated while the pontoon is moving.
Keys are in the boat. Gas cans are available in the boat house/shed. Please leave the boat full at check-out to avoid extra fees.
