Please ensure all trash is emptied and placed in the red garbage bins. Double-bag any meats or animal products to help deter wildlife

STRIP BEDS

Strip linens (sheets & pillow cases) from beds and leave outside bedrooms in hallways (this really helps our cleaning team get the house ready for the next guest).

START LOAD OF DISHES

Please load the dishwasher and run a load of dishes before departing.

Gravel pads are available for parking The upper gravel pad allows for up to 4 vehicles and the lower allows for up to 2.

SEPTIC SYSTEM

The property is on a well and septic systems. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper, please.

Let's take the guesswork out of your vacation. We've put together the following pages of helpful hints so you can spend more time enjoying and relaxing and less time looking for the ironing board

GARBAGE & RECYCLING

Please bring all garbage and place in the red Pequot Sanitation containers on the right side of the house (as you're facing the front door).

We're happy to offer co-mingled recycling at Upper Hay Sunsets Please utilize the can with the yellow lid for all recycling.

Gravel pads are available for parking The upper gravel pad allows for up to 4 vehicles and the lower allows for up to 2.

ENTERTAINMENT

TVs

Upper Hay on Sunsets is equipped with several smart TVs. Simply login to your preferred platform and start watching! Don't forget to log out when you're done

Lakeside Fire Pit

After a day on the lake, the lakeside fire pit is the perfect spot to unwind and watch the sun set. Listen for the Loons!

Traeger Smoker

Stop and grab a rack or two of ribs on your way up and throw on the apron! A great way to put a fun twist on dinner! Pellets are provided.

Water Toys

Enjoy the day on the lake with one of the included water toys onsite. Whether its the kayak, SUP, or lily pad - your day is sure to be great!

Fireplace

Cozy up with a freshly brewed cup of coffee from the Nespresso and enjoy the early morning hours next to the gas fireplace.

COFFEE

Nothing says 'morning at the lake' like a fresh cup of coffee! Pack along your favorite Nespresso pods and enjoy a cup on the patio.

DISHWASHER

Nobody likes doing the dishes. Especially not on vacation! There is a dishwasher in the kitchen so you can spend less time scrubbing and more time relaxing!

FULLY STOCKED

The kitchen at Sunsets on Upper Hay is fully stocked for any/all your group cooking needs.

LAUNDRY

LAUNDRY DETERGENT

Don’t worry about packing your own. A few pods will be available onsite for your use.

WASH A LOAD

Add your laundry (don't overfill), add soap by pulling out the soap reservoir, select wash cycle, and hit start.

DRY A LOAD

Add spun laundry to dryer (don't overfill), select dry cycle, add dryer sheet if desired, and hit start.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

FIRE PIT

No stay at Upper Hay Sunsets is complete without at least one fire at our lakeside fire pit Don’t forget to stop on your way up to grab a bundle or two of wood!

TRAEGER GRILL

On the lakeside deck please enjoy our Traeger for all your BBQing needs. Pellets are provided onsite

KAYAKS & SUP & LILY PAD

Onsite are 3 Kayaks, 1 SUP, and 1 Lily Pad for your enjoyment. Stored near the beach on kayak rack.

SANDY BEACH

Perfect spot to sink your toes in or create a picture-worthy sand castle!

FISHING

Bring your poles along and get ready to catch some sunnies off the dock. Don’t forget your fishing license!
