I love to find the diamond in the rough. That house that everyone looks past. God has bought me 5 houses that I did not buy. I gutted them out and created beauty. And then God would relocate me so that I could do it again. I learned how to hire and fire realtors, contractors, and budget projects. I worked with contractors, and sub-contractors, and used the best materials. I also put my sweat equity into each project. I created beautiful river rock accent walls, and tile fireplaces, removed and installed my toilets! The first 4 houses my sons contributed and learned. God showed me what He can do. The 5th place was me and God. Such a fun way to grow in Him. He has to get us out too! We have faulty wiring and some of them catch fire if they aren't replaced.

Don’t follow the expected path set by your parents. They didn't do everything wrong or right, but they are not you. You are unique. You have a different journey and destiny. Do not follow their traditions. Traditions are stagnant traps from generations of the old. Be kind to yourself. You are making progress every day. Keep pressing through when others tell you that you aren't able. Seek God first. Why? You’ll discover hidden talents and find joy in unexpected places when you connect your identity to Christ Jesus. There are many kinds of narcissists in the world. We hear about the overt, covert, vulnerable, and low-level narcissists. But what about the influential narcissists? This kind can shape events and the world. Look at the Doctor, CEO, CFO, COO, President of a Fortune 500 Company, President of a Nation, rapper, sports figure, high rank military and who has Three P’s power, position, and paychecks. These are atmosphere shifters on steroids. They ignite a room with all sensual and worldly pleasures.
I am not saying that being influential makes someone a narcissist. But what if you are married to an influential narcissist? Someone who is upheld in the community, city, state, judicial system, church, government, country or even the world?
The definition of influential is having or exerting influence, especially profound influence: important, weighty, forceful, a person whose actions and opinions strongly influence the course of events. (Definition from Oxford Languages)
What if you find yourself in a marriage or dating relationship with the influential narcissist? This was me. He was a doctor. Not a pediatrician but a surgeon. I make this distinction because he made the distinction. There is a ranking system in every social sector. A surgeon is high ranking in the study of medicine. But the neurosurgeon has the most power in the medical sector. The neurosurgeon is the most prestigious. They have influence in every room that they walk in. No one can detect what is going on at home. No one can wrap their mind around the influential narcissist. There is such a dichotomy between the public and private mask.

Demons have a ranking system. The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12 KJV that, “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. We wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” This is the ranking system of the unseen realm. The word is describing an array of evil and malicious spirits who are seeking to devour the people of God. Under the influence of the influential narcissist, you lose your voice, identity, and power in the blink of an eye.
Influential narcissists have rank in the kingdom of darkness. The influential narcissist is doing Satan’s bidding. How can you leave and remain safe?
1) Plan your exit. It might take a year or longer to get out. Do not rush the planning phase. I am unable to list all the steps in this short article.
2)Do not share your plans with friends and family. Matthew 10:6 Be wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove.
3)Regardless of your status with the influential narcissist, go to the Domestic Violence Shelter and take their classes. You will gain a support system of people who understand. This is humbling.
4)Connect with someone who has successfully left an influential narcissist. They can assist you step by step. You can contact me!
5)If you have children, the exit plan will look different.

Parenting is a rewarding and fulfilling journey, but it can also be challenging, especially when you are raising children with special needs while managing autoimmune diseases and pursuing an entrepreneurial career. I want to bring you all into my world to provide tips and tools for finding balance in your life while nurturing and supporting your children with autism and ADHD. We will explore strategies for promoting their personal growth, fostering their entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging their faith-based values, and maintaining their well-being.
1. Embrace Individuality and Celebrate Progress
Understanding that each child is unique is crucial when parenting children with autism and ADHD Embrace their individuality and celebrate their progress, no matter how small. Encourage their strengths and interests, helping them develop their potential as future entrepreneurs and authors. Provide a supportive environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. By appreciating their achievements and cultivating their passions, you can lay the foundation for their success in their chosen endeavors
2. Establish a Structured Routine
I’m a hot mess when it comes to this. This is where their dad steps in a lot! But seriously, children with autism and ADHD often thrive in a structured environment Establishing a predictable routine can help them feel secure and maintain a sense of stability. Both my husband and I maintain a schedule that includes specific times for learning, play, therapy sessions, family time, and self-care. Consistency and clear expectations will provide a stable foundation for your children to flourish.

Encouraging a love for reading and learning is important for your children's personal and intellectual growth Expose them to various genres and topics, including faith-based literature, and engage in reading activities together. Visit local libraries, attend book signings, and explore online resources that cater to their interests Instilling a passion for reading will not only expand their knowledge but also nurture their creativity and imagination, laying the groundwork for their future success as authors and entrepreneurs.
Foster your children's entrepreneurial spirit by involving them in age-appropriate business activities. My children Jayden and Marvis, are into fashion and faith. My oldest Jayden decided to take on his own business called YOUNGSAVEDLEADERS and even included his younger brother as a creative director. Together they came up with sketches of how they wanted the clothes to look, the logo, and the mission. Our friends, family, and even the online family and community we have poured into their mission. They took the funds and donated half to people with disabilities My husband Marvis Sr helps them maintain the business by teaching them the ins and outs of ownership and structure of keeping books, maintaining goals, and keeping track of their finances and annual reports. So my advice to parents would be to encourage your child to brainstorm ideas for their dreams, engage in creative problem-solving, and teach them basic business concepts Help them understand the value of hard work, perseverance, and resilience Support their entrepreneurial endeavors by offering guidance, resources, and opportunities for networking. By instilling an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age, you can empower them to pursue their dreams and become successful entrepreneurs in the future

5. Prioritize Self-Care and Seek Support
As a parent juggling multiple responsibilities, it is crucial to prioritize self-care. Managing autoimmune diseases requires maintaining your physical and mental well-being. Seek support from family, friends, and support groups who understand your unique challenges. Delegate tasks when possible, practice stress-management techniques and make time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Remember, taking care of yourself is not selfish but necessary for your ability to support and nurture your children effectively.

However, with Faith and belief that GOD is in control of ALL things, maintaining a structured routine, embracing individuality, fostering a love for reading and learning, nurturing their entrepreneurial spirit, and prioritizing selfcare, you can create a harmonious environment for your family Stay resilient, seek support from your loved ones and most importantly from God when needed, and celebrate the progress and achievements of both yourself, your spouse if you have one, and your children as you navigate this journey together.

A native of Philly, Dr. Patricia moved to Atlanta after college and worked part-time in broadcast TV & radio. She's certified in FCCRadio/Telephone Operations; the FAA private pilot license and a Basic Ground Instructor rating. She enjoyed being, “In the air, or on the air” a slogan she proudly relishes. In 1981, the ACE Inc. contract ended. Her aerospace interests (starting in high school as a civil Air Patrol Cadet) served when strikes & firings of air traffic controllers created a need for her knowledge.
Serving 7 yrs. as an air traffic assistant, and training specialist her duties included orientations, controller training, and coordinating cooperative internships. She met/married her husband of 40 years, raising two children. Shift work and long commutes encouraged change. Later, she switched to English LA/ Reading for 30 years. Before retirement, she spend 5 weeks in Tanzania East Africa with the US Fulbright program. Today she guides youth to find their truth.
