In 2018, Martha and her business partner founded Platinum Steel Services, a company that provides steel fabrication and conveyor belt installation to the mining sector One of their early successes was securing contracts with Royal Bafokeng Platinum Mine, now known as Impala Bafokeng Mine. Today, Platinum Steel Trading employs 90 people, with 70% of the workforce drawn from the local mining community, which has allowed the company to positively impact the area by providing employment opportunities.
