The right fit
Year groups small enough to ensure every child gets individual education and support, and large enough to include variety and breadth of opinion to challenge and stimulate debate. We take equal opportunities very seriously.
There is no evidence that single sex education improves academic attainment or makes children happier. The number of single sex schools (both in the independent and state system) has declined nationally as demand from parents has decreased.
We have to prepare our children for their adult life. That means teaching them to interact with everyone, regardless of gender.

Reading and writing matters
Our Libraries are the busiest places in the School. Children of all ages reading, researching and doing homework.
All children in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 have a School iPad with a stylus Apple Pencil to set the standard for drawing, note-taking and marking up documents. Students can choose to record their work using the stylus, typing on the iPad or by writing in their universal exercise book or subject books – whatever works best for them.
