Parent Portal Guidance
We are pleased to be able offer you access to the School’s Parent Portal where you will be able to see up-to-date information about your child (or children) and also be kept informed of relevant school information that we hope you will find useful. On the portal, you will be able to see your child’s:
• Timetable
• Homework Tasks
• Reports (for download)
• Contact details for Tutors
You can also check that the contact details that we hold for you are correct.
Other school information available on the Parent Portal includes:
• School Events, Sports Fixtures and Clubs Calendars
• Pastoral Support
• Information about Academic Subjects
• Extra-Curricular Activities
• Term Dates
• Uniform Information
• School Transport Information
• Trip Information
• School Catering and Lunch Menus
• Key Contacts for School
• Useful Links and Resources
You can log on and find this information from your PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone. Simply follow the instructions for logging on for the first time.
To log on to your Parent Portal from your PC, Mac, Tablet or Smartphone simply:
• Click on this link: https://wgs-sch.fireflycloud.net (for future reference, you can also find a link to the Parent Portal at the bottom of the School website www.wgs.org.uk)
• Select ‘Parents’ on the right
• Select the ‘Activate your account’ link
• On the next screen, enter the email address that we already hold on record for you, and select ‘Activate account’
• You then need to check your email as the Parent Portal will send you a message (please check your junk/spam filters if you do not receive the email)
• Click on the link supplied in the email and then confirm with a password when prompted
• You will now be logged in to the Parent Portal. The next time you log in with your parent account, simply use your email and the new password you have just created.
