CLUBS & SOCIETIES
More than 100 activities

More than 100 activities
Woldingham always has a fantastic range of clubs and societies for students to choose from and this year is no different. It’s part of what makes Woldingham so special and supports our goal to enable students to #WriteYourOwnStory both at school and afterwards.
Good exam results open doors to top universities and exciting careers, but the activities, trips and clubs are important too. As well as being great fun, they enable students to foster wider interests, allow them to shine on stage, learn to be part of a team, try something out of their comfort zone and meet new people. As result, students develop the skills, confidence and interests to help them flourish throughout life.
Following the successful launch of our online booking system which streamlines and simplifies the way parents and students book clubs and societies at school, we’re pleased to announce that the myevolve online booking system will remain the cornerstone of our club registration process for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Through myevolve, parents can schedule their daughters’ club activities in advance, eliminating the need for manual paperwork and ensuring a seamless registration experience. Students in Year 10 and above will retain the autonomy to manage their own bookings, while parents can maintain a linked account to oversee their selections and provide necessary approvals, all within myevolve.
In September, we will invite parents to create a myevolve account for themselves and their children using a bespoke registration link. This account will serve as your gateway to explore our diverse array of clubs, view schedules, make bookings, and even grant approval for any clubs that entail additional costs.
Booking for the upcoming academic year will open in the first week of term. To assist with planning, we’ve curated a comprehensive directory of clubs, complete with anticipated schedules and priority days. While timetables are being finalised, myevolve will provide real-time updates, ensuring parents are always in the loop.
Navigating myevolve is easy. From the user-friendly dashboard, there is access to an array of features, including:
• A comprehensive list of clubs, complete with dates, times, and locations.
• The ability to make bookings with ease.
• Clear visibility on which year groups are eligible for each club.
• A calendar view of all booked activities.
• Facility for parental approval for any paid clubs or activities.
We’ve found myevolve to be intuitive and user-friendly, but contact us at extracurricular@ woldinghamschool.co.uk for assistance or guidance.
Active participation in the clubs and activities is important and regular attendance is expected. We will contact parents or guardians if a student misses two consecutive sessions. We’re happy to accommodate club changes, subject to availability, and will maintain waiting lists for oversubscribed clubs.
We are looking forward to the 2024-2025 academic year filled with enriching experiences and boundless opportunities for students.
