Woldingham is committed to offering bursarial scholarships to Polish students in the Sixth Form.

We are seeking financial support to sustain the programme for future generations.

COMMUNITY The Woldingham community is strong, forward-thinking and kind. Students achieve academic results that open doors, learn values to navigate life and develop life-long friendships. Woldingham enables every student to fulfil her academic potential, offering a broad curriculum, an academic enrichment programme and dedicated support for Oxbridge and overseas university candidates.

Every girl is known as an individual in a community environment which is stimulating, supportive and nurtures independence.

BOARDING The boarding tradition at Woldingham is deeply embedded. Students have individual rooms from Year 10 upwards with purpose-built accommodation in the Sixth Form. The co-curricular programme is rich and varied with an emphasis on team and individual sport, highly-acclaimed creative and performing arts, a vibrant House system, more than 80 clubs and activities, and a local community outreach programme.

UWC POLAND Woldingham has partnered with UWC Poland to offer two Sixth Form bursarial scholarships for Polish national students from September 2021.

I am proud to have been part of the UWC Poland Sixth Form Scholarship scheme for many years, as I see the positive impact that it has on young people and their families.

UWC Poland is a charity which recruits talented students from Poland into top UK independent schools.

Alumnae of the scheme attend Oxbridge, Harvard and other top UK and US universities.

I am highly supportive of the scholarship scheme for a Polish student to study at Woldingham for Sixth Form. The scheme has run successfully at other UK schools for several years.

Support for the scholarship scheme gives ‘an academic trampoline’ to an enthusiastic and hardworking person who really wants to make progress and make a difference.

SUPPORT Woldingham is committed to offering Sixth Form bursarial scholarships for Polish students at a cost of up to £200,000 per year. We are aiming to establish a substantial endowment fund to sustain the programme for future generations. To achieve this, we are seeking external financial support.
