Whether you have just finished year 12, left school a few years ago, or even longer, why not continue your learning journey with Wodonga TAFE?

We will help you discover where your talents lie and will build your knowledge on the subject areas you are most passionate about.

You will learn in small, supported classes with teachers who are continually given the seal of approval by our students for their commitment, their industry knowledge, and their willingness to put in the extra effort to help you achieve your goals and continue on to your degree.

Our university partnerships enable you to receive direct entry and/or possible credits towards your degree for the studies you have completed at Wodonga TAFE. Your existing knowledge is recognised, and you can concentrate on completing your degree.

You will be well-prepared to tackle further studies with the support, confidence, and knowledge you have gained while you were at Wodonga TAFE.

Thinking of applying for a Higher Education or University course?

This brochure outlines a range of formal, established credit arrangements that we have in place with our university partners.

Your Wodonga TAFE qualifications are well recognised, and if you choose to study at another tertiary education provider, simply contact our Education Pathways Officer who will be able to assist you with your queries and provide advice relating to any special entry initiatives you may be eligible for.

If you would like to go to a tertiary education provider that isn’t included in Career Direct, don’t worry, completing a Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma with Wodonga TAFE may enable you to apply for entry into higher education institutions both locally, and across Australia.

“My pathway to nursing began when I completed Certificate III in Individual Support, I then commenced the Leisure and Health certificate and progressed to completing the Diploma of Nursing.

The Diploma of Nursing has given me the practical skills and theoretical knowledge to feel confident entering the Healthcare workforce with Albury Wodonga Health as a Graduate Enrolled Nurse. I will continue to work as an Enrolled Nurse while studying the Bachelor of Nursing with La Trobe University.

Wodonga TAFE shares the La Trobe University Library and librarian resources, which were invaluable in developing my academic skills. I have also been able to use the Skills and Job Centre to gain advice about my career pathway. I feel confident about my transition from Diploma to Bachelor of Nursing because the educators have assisted me with a smooth transition in academic skills.”

Credit arrangements differ between universities. Check the university’s website or phone the university to confirm the course you want to study and for specific details about the credits available to you. You also need to confirm with the university about how you apply for your undergraduate degree and how possible credits from your Certificate IV, Diploma and/or Advanced Diploma apply to that degree course. Contact our Education Pathways Officer to discuss your options and gain up-to-date advice and information.

Please note that all Wodonga TAFE courses run subject to minimum enrolments. This includes degree courses that are provided in association with our university partners.
