ASSISTANT COACH Second Season Brevard, ’07
Tom Grant is entering his second year of coaching and his first year with Western Michigan.
Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in integrated studies with an emphasis in child development from Brevard College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration at Western Michigan University.
Grant also spent one season at Michigan State University as a relief pitcher and one season as a starting pitcher at Grand Rapids Community College, where he was a member of the 2004 National Junior College Athletic Association World Series championship team.
COACHING STAFF
Prior to joining the Bronco coaching staff, Grant spent one season as a pitching coach at Brevard College in Brevard, N.C., after a two-year playing career as a starting pitcher at the school. At Brevard, which recently became a member of the NCAA Division II (formerly NAIA), Grant earned All-AAC honors and was named the school’s Male Athlete of the Year as a senior, and the team’s Defensive Player of the Year two years in a row.
