Carl Nkosi, Education Media Production Technician, School of Clinical Medicine

Mr Carl Nkosi has been a wonderful asset in preparing the teaching and learning audio-visual videos for many departments. He has produced extremely high-quality teaching videos for the Department of Surgery.

These include:

36 videos for the 3-day Basic and Essential Surgical Training Course (BESST) which is run in the advanced surgical skills lab as well as nationally

Teaching videos for the Laparoscopic Suturing course He has made promotional videos for the Skills lab and is always happy to help with photography and videography

Mr Nkosi has always demonstrated a tremendous work ethic and has time and again come in outside of normal work hours to take videos and then spend many hours of his private time processing these videos.

He has shown tremendous patience with users, often helping them to become better presenters as a result of eloquently worded suggestions. It is a pleasure working with him. He is a perfectionist and can be relied on to be punctual and to meet tight deadlines.
