Hosted Bar Options
PLATINUM
Fully stocked, top-shelf, open bar. It includes all top-shelf liquors for mixed drinks, a variety of bottled beers, assorted hard seltzer, (keg beer may be added), premium wine and soda**. Cost per bottle of liquor is $200/bottle rounded to the nearest tenth of a bottle.
GOLD
Variety of bottled beer, assorted hard seltzer, (keg beer may be added), premium wine and soda to your guests.No liquors or mixers will be provided.
SILVER
Variety of bottled beer, assorted hard seltzer, (keg beer may be provided) and soda to your guests.
Cash Operated Bars
RED
Fully stocked, top-shelf cash operated bar, but provides complimentary beer, assorted hard seltzer, premium wine and soda**, courtesy of the host. Your guests will pay for their mixed drinks on an individual basis. Keg beer may be added.
WHITE
Fully stocked, cash operatedbar, but provides complimentary beer, assorted hard seltzer, and soda**, courtesy of the host. Your guests will pay for their mixed drinks and premium wine on an individual basis. This bar includes all top-shelf liquors for mixed drinks, a variety of bottled beers premium house wine and soda. Keg beer may be added.
BLUE
Fully stocked cash operated bar. It includes all topshelf liquors for mixed drinks, a variety of bottled beers, assorted hard seltzer, premium wine and soda. Your guest assumes all charges for drinks on anindividual basis.
GREEN
Variety of bottled beer, assorted hard seltzer, premium wine and soda. No liquors or mixers will be provided. Your guest assumes all charges for drinks on an individual basis.
Bar Service
Cash bars or hosted bars are available on the premise that the sales will generate at least $150 per hour per bartender. If the predetermined sales guarantee is not met, the customer will pay the difference between the sales and the guarantee. The host assumes responsibility for all changes accrued by guests.
The number of bars/bartenders on an event is determined by the Wisconsin Union. Alcohol service may require security, which will be charged to the client. Bar service will end at or before 10:30PM.
All open and hosted bars are charged on pre and post- inventory levels. All standard bar packages are stocked with high quality disposable service ware.
Glassware
For in building events at Memorial Union, Union South and Grainger Hall only
Glassware at the bar is available for a rental fee.
Glassware: $5 per person
Pint Glasses: $3 per person For barreled beer
TAILGATE BARS***
Premium Badger Bloody Marys, premium Screwdrivers and Mimosas and assortment of Beer, Hard Seltzers, Soda and Water
*Due to University Policy, alcoholic beverages cannot be served without a non-alcoholic option present. We are happy to offer sodas, juices or mineral waters as a ‘payper-use’ option.
**For any fully stocked bar that offers complimentary soda, the complimentary soda will be tallied separately to ensure that it will count toward the sales guarantee.
