I sat down with Eric to learn more about his interests, workout routine to stay in great shape and life in general – after his photo shoot with renowned photographer David Vance at his studio in Miami. This sexy daddy reminds us that we can get and stay in shape if we eat properly and exercise, but looking as magnificent as Eric does take extra effort and dedication. Rafa Carvajal: Where are you originally from and where do you live? Eric Turner: I'm originally from the mountains outside of Salt Lake City, UT, and I currently live in Houston, TX. RC: Describe yourself in three words. ET: Quite easily amused. RC: What do you do for work? ET: I've launched a men's underwear and athletic apparel line, Oryx. I also do some personal training. RC: What do you enjoy doing for fun? ET: I love the outdoors. It's ironic that I chose to live in Houston, since the climate is such that it's hard to get outside most of the year. However, I like to travel to places where I can. I also enjoy watching films in the cinema and spending time playing with my dogs. RC: Who is your role model that inspires you most? Why? ET: My paternal grandfather inspired me the most. He was a hard worker who was able to accomplish a lot because of his work ethic and his resolve. RC: Tell us about your workouts to stay in such great shape. ET: I split my days into body parts, and I only hit each body part once a week. The exception to that is arms twice and abs three times weekly. My rule is 4-5 exercises per muscle group, and I hit them from multiple angles to develop and pump areas of that muscle on which I want to focus. I do fasted cardio weekday mornings.
