“Snow Day in the Kitchen” Class
Warming up with winter baking for kids!
BY RESIDENT AND JUNIOR WRITER MADISON GRIFFIN THIS FEATURE SPONSORED BY LOUDOUN COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL

In January I took The Snow Day cooking class at the Lodge with Chef Emily! We had fun making lots of treats inspired by the time of year. We ate some of our creations there, and took some home to share! The menu included snowball cookies, cake pops, chocolate bark, and hot cocoa with peppermint whip cream. My favorite recipe was the bark and the hot cocoa. Everyone had a great time!
