WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE OF THE WHITSTABLE IMP!

A

ugust has been a mixed bag of a month weather-wise, and September promises a mixed and very FULL bag of entertainment. Even if you don’t have the traditional back-to-school rush to get shoes, bags, books and uniform, there’s still plenty for you to plan and do. We’re brought you as much of the Hop Festival events as we could - see the gig guide p38, and there are LOADS of things happening here in Whitstable, literally on your doorstep. We always list as many events as we can in our pages but this one

came through when we were already full: The Monument Pub is holding a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan on Friday September 24th - why not pop up for a cake, a cuppa and a chat if you can spare the time? Enjoy this issue of the IMP and good luck for the new academic term, if that’s affecting you now. We’ll be back in October.
