The Estates centre-piece, the Wellington course is in immaculate condition all year round and features a classic golf course design. Set in over 200 acres of mature parkland, the outstanding 18 hole, par 72 championship golf course stretches out over 7,000 yards from the back tees.

The golf course’s sweeping fairways, true greens and over eighty bunkers make for an enjoyable yet stern challenge for even the most accomplished of golfers, whilst offering panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.

Aside from the Wellington course, practice facilities include a practice bunker, chipping and putting greens as well as a fully-equipped driving range. The club’s Professional shop also offers a golf simulator, which can be booked for group fun or coaching.

The Wynyard clubhouse is designed and furnished to a high standard. Bar and lounge facilities offer a very relaxing social environment, which provides a warm welcome to members, visitors and their families.

A popular venue for light lunches, business meetings, drinks with friends and traditional Sunday lunches, and the clubhouse is served by attentive staff with something for all palates and pockets.

The Wynyard clubhouse building is also home to the superb Professional Shop which stocked the latest equipment, clothing and accessories from some of the game’s leading manufacturers.

PGA Professional staff make use of the club’s very own Golf Performance Studio which was launched in 2017. The Studio is the ideal setting for golf lessons and tutorials with the latest technology and equipment which can also be used for the custom fitting of golf clubs.

The Wynyard Golf Club is also home of the world famous, David Leadbitter Golf Academy (DLGA). One of only twenty highly acclaimed golfing academies worldwide, the organisation is renowned for the countless PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and Champions Tour professionals it has as clients.

The club’s superb range of packages are inclu coffee on arrival, to a more formal three cours Professional team will also be on hand to make The Wynyard has a team of qualified coaches on hand to pass on these experiences and expertise to club members. Through dedicated one-on-one tuition, the DLGA has helped many aspiring golfers to succeed on a national and international basis.
