ituated in the picturesque Lune Valley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club extends a warm Cumbrian welcome to all members and visitors.

Set in 165 acres of spectacular countryside and established for over 25 years, the par 72, eighteen hole Kirkby Lonsdale golf course stretches over 6,300 yards. The course features a variety of terrains creating an eclectic blend of heathland and parkland golf, which is open to the elements in some places.

Distributed across two loops of nine which take in the natural landscape surrounding the golf course, the front nine crosses the Barbon Beck as it works its way down to the River Lune before returning to the clubhouse building. Whilst the back nine heads into the Lune Valley, boasting spectacular views of the Howgill Fells before reaching the highest point on the golf course at the 15th hole. The final three holes of the Kirkby Lonsdale course provide a stunning finish to the round with our signature 17th hole being a 157 yard Par 3 to a green located just over the water (Barbon Beck) We have four tees-white (Championship/ Competition)-6594 yards, Yellow (Gents, Daily)-6244 yards, Red (Ladies)-5734 yards and Blue (Lune Course)-5000 yards. The Lune Course offers an alternative forward set of tees for those players wishing to limit the number of longer carries off the tee. It provides an enjoyable experience whilst still playing to the same quality fairways and greens as the main course.

We have excellent practice facilities to compliment the golf course including driving range and short game chipping area. There is also a 6 hole Academy Course for Juniors and for those wishing to learn the game.

The club’s comfortable clubhouse offers the ideal retreat to relax and enjoy a drink or bite to eat pre or post round with daily menus and a well-stocked bar area for the enjoyment of guests.

The Kirkby Lonsdale clubhouse is also home to an excellent PGA professional shop which stocks reasonably priced equipment, clothing and accessories from some of the game’s leading brands.

The PGA team are on hand to offer their expert tuition and advice including everything from the golf swing to the latest fashion and trends out on the fairways. There is a Swing Room where full analysis of your swing and club testing can take place.
