William (Bill) Wallis Born in St. Thomas, Ontario and graduated from high school in Belleville, Ontario. It was there that he developed an interest in art. Although he works in multiple media his favorite is in depicting items from early history of the gold mining era in wood burnings, particularly buildings and street scenes.
