HOCKEY DAY IN ATLIN!!
When: Saturday February 8th at 11:00 am Where: Como Lake Skating All are Welcome Burgers and Hotdogs will be cooked For Noon! Notice: Dog-Team on Highway Happy New Year, Atlin! My own personal New Year’s resolution was to use my sled-dogs for their historic and invaluable purpose: as Northern transportation! So far, it has been a delightful and successful endeavor, (though, I have made a couple of mistakes…) I will typically be running my dogs on the Atlin Highway between Telegraph Creek and town. Now that you know, please be aware that there may be a dog-team on the highway. If possible and traffic conditions allow for it, I would greatly appreciate it if you could slow down a little bit, pass wide, and avoid honking your horn. I will endeavour to remain on the right-hand side of the road, and to wear appropriate reflective gear. Thank you, so much, and gunalcheesh, to all of those who have expressed their support and enthusiasm for my method of transport and who have so graciously shared the road!
