Here is a bear that is a frequent visitor to my yard. She often pushes over the water barrels and I thought she was either being a nuisance or looking for garbage aka bear treats! Today I was outside the house when the barrel went over. I watched her take a big drink and then lay herself down in the water to cool off! I went inside to get my iPhone and take her picture. She waited and after a minute when the water had soaked away, she got up, began to walk away and shook herself. It must be very warm under that lovely fur coat! I may have to get her a wading pool! SADLY MISSED Rick Newberry friend and help to many in Atlin and founder of the Atlin Music Festival passed away on July 21st from pancreatic cancer.

He is sadly missed and fondly remembered.
