and Conditions

Promotion Periods 10am – 11pm every day except December 25th 2024.

Who may enter Only current financial members of West HQ who are over the age of 18 years and hold a West HQ Loyal rewards card (Eligible Members) may enter this promotion.

Validity

How to Play

• Please note that NO points can be purchased

• Visitors are not eligible unless they hold a valid WHQ Loyal Rewards Card with sufficient loyalty points.

• Only West HQ Loyal reward points can be used to purchase items in the Points Burn Shop, and only the items available in the stock list are eligible for purchase.

• When purchasing an item, the member will receive a 50% discount as outlined in the West HQ Loyal Program.

• West HQ does not accept responsibility if a purchased item is stolen or lost on West HQ premises after the purchase is made.

• It is the sole responsibility of the member to transport their purchased item(s) safely from the Point-of-Sale location to offsite West HQ premises or to their vehicle.

• The member should take their Loyal card to the Cashier Desk on the gaming floor where they will be able to select from a variety of items, and purchase them using their accumulated points. Gift cards will be available for purchase via the Customer Service Desk.

Details

There are no prizes or random/luck based promotions.

This is entirely rule based with a published “price” list of items where each available item has an allocated points value. Upon selection to purchase that points value will be removed from the Eligible Member’s West HQ Loyal Card.

Value Will vary depending on customer activity.

Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions

1. Points cannot be transferred, substituted, or exchanged to another person, or for any other object, cash amount, or value.

2. All decisions of West HQ (and its representatives) are final.

3. West HQ accepts no responsibility for any additional costs associated with participation other than stated in these Terms and Conditions.

4. West HQ reserves the right to:

a) Verify the validity of participants (including but not limited to, the Eligible Member’s identity and age). In the event that a card holder cannot provide suitable proof of identification at the time of the purchase, we reserve the right to refuse service.

b) Reject any card that is illegible, has been tampered with or is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and

5. Disqualify any Member that has not acted in good faith and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

6. Participation is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

7. A record of all purchases will be kept.

8. Points Burn is not open to patrons excluded from the venue pursuant to the provisions of the Office of Liquor & Gaming or who are otherwise excluded.

9. Subject to law, the Promoter (including its employees, agents, and contractors) has no liability to any person for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever howsoever arising in connection with this promotion (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prizes). This clause does not apply to the extent that West HQ liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of West HQ in respect of its supply of services and/or goods to the participant in the ordinary course of West HQ’s business.

10. If for any reason this promotion is unable to run as stated above due to technical/printing errors etc., the Promoter reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions to run this the fairest way possible with the least disruption.

11. If an item becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a suitable alternative of equal value.

12. The Promoter’s decision in connection with any aspect of this promotion will be binding and final on every participant. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or alter this promotion at any time (such as in the case of unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control), subject to compliance with any Fair-Trading guidelines.

13. Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in immediate disqualification of any entrant. Disqualification will be at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The Promoter practices the responsible service of alcohol and gaming delivery.

15. All decisions are final and are at the discretion of West HQ Management. Permit Number

While you are working in the Points Burn Shop, please note the following guidance:

General Sales

• Operating hours 10am- 11pm, 1 st - 31 st December (exc Dec 25th)

• Points Burn will operate out of the cashiers desk this year for alcohol

• Reception will sell gift cards as usual.

• The items recorded on the stock list are listed in monetary value (i.e., $50). However, since items can only be purchased through points, the member will receive their 50% pay by points discount in accordance with the West HQ Loyal Program

• Therefore, when a customer purchases an item at $50, the sale value should be reduced $25 thus making the sale value 2,500 points.

Stock handling

• Mellad will do a stock count each day and move stock to the cupboards situated behind the bar at the back of cashiers as required.

• All staff should use a trolley to move stock to the Cashiers Desk (may be in warehouse)

• Never climb up to reach items – use a step.

• Stock the shelving in accordance with safe manual handling principles

• Unload bottles from boxes one at a time instead of attempting to lift boxes from the bottom shelf.

Security

• There are several security cameras in the area for your safety.

• Keep the door to the back of the Cashiers/BOH area always closed when the shop is open.

Customer handling

• Multi-use bags are available for the customers to carry smaller items.

• No more than 2 bottles should be in one bag – do not overload the bags.

• A trolley should be proactively offered to patrons who are provided with multiple or bulky items.

- The member is required to leave their membership card at the points shop until the trolley is returned.

• Advise the patron of the safest routes to their vehicle via ramps and lifts to avoid stairs.

West HQ Gift Cards

• We will be selling West HQ Gift Cards from reception alongside the Woolworths & Visa ones.

• These will come in values of $25, $50, and $100.
